Are you at your limit? "Violently Kawaii" is invitation to cute-rage along to a high-energy altpop/hyperpop performance by Toronto's own psycho-pop star AIKO TOMI 富愛子. Her addictive songs and pulsating beats will awaken your inner animal. She'll be playing a selection of favourites from her debut album, as well as some new and unreleased songs from her upcoming project. Are you a spicy-wholesome chaotic-neutral? Are you obsessed with toilet humour and Hello Kitty at the same time? Do you ninja run while drinking bubble tea? This is your new cult leader.
AIKO TOMI 富愛子 stands out as an artist with an unexpected sound, presence, and “lyrical deftness” (Exclaim!) that captivates audiences and ignites conversations. Based in Toronto, the alt-pop songwriter’s "internet-tinged diaspora pop" flavour adds dimension to her addictive power bangers and power ballads. Her visually striking artistry takes audiences on a captivating journey, from stylized portraits to self-shot videos featuring strangely hypnotic movements from unconventional perspectives.
